London’s best sushi (part one)

SINCE the opening of Yashin at 1a Argyll Street off High Street Kensington – 0207 938 1536 –  bets are off as to London’s most illustrious Japanese but there is a certain issue of rapport entre qualite et prix and the size of your wallet. Cafe Japan on the other hand is dependable and more affordable between Golders Green tube station and Sainsbury’s and claims to have invented the age (fried) sushi roll back in 1966 which “Golders Green has been enjoying ever since”. So much for Asians opting for healthy eating. The choice is otherwise more limited but not the quality –  626 Finchley Rd  NW11 7RR 020 8455 6854
